Hi, my name is Andrew and I’ve been a photographer for about 6 years now. I own a photo company called Hollow Mountain Photo and I’m currently the Photographer/Videographer II for the Cullen College of Engineering at the University of Houston.

I received a B.A. in Communications from Texas A&M University back in 2015; and an A.A.S in Audio Engineering from San Jacinto College in 2018. I worked for 4 years at the Harrington Media Center at Texas A&M University and have 11 years of A/V experience.

I started photography and videography when I was hired on at Uptime Films as an editor and secondary shooter for weddings and corporate events. After falling in love with the profession, I founded Hollow Mountain Photo with Uptime Films’ owner, Jeremy Knight.

I signed on with the University of Houston in February of 2022 as the sole photographer for the Cullen College of Engineering. I’ve shot photos for awards galas, graduations, guest lecturers, tailgates, professors, laboratories, and so much more. My photos have been featured on the covers (and throughout the pages) of Parameters Magazine, starting with the Fall 2022 issue. I’ve created over 35 videos from the college, ranging from biographical profile videos with our faculty, student spotlight interviews, college addresses from Dean Joseph Tedesco, and episodes of the Engines of Our Ingenuity radio program that has been airing on PBS/NPR for over 30 years.
